Queue to Anki Chrome Extension

Data Collection

We do not collect any data.

• No analytics or tracking scripts
• No user accounts or registration
• No cookies for tracking purposes
• No telemetry or usage statistics

Data Storage

All data is stored locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage API (chrome.storage.local):

• Your queued flashcards
• Extension settings and preferences
• Cached deck and note type names from Anki

This data never leaves your browser and is not accessible to us or any third party.

Network Access

The extension makes network requests only to your local machine:

• Destination: http://127.0.0.1:8765 (localhost)
• Purpose: Communicate with AnkiConnect add-on running in Anki Desktop
• Data sent: Flashcard content you explicitly choose to send to Anki

No data is ever sent to external servers, cloud services, or the internet.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, share, or transfer any user data to third parties. Since no data is collected, there is nothing to share.

Permissions Used

The extension requests the following permissions:

• storage: To save your settings and queued cards locally
• contextMenus: To add right-click menu options for creating cards
• scripting: To capture selected text from web pages
• host_permissions (127.0.0.1:8765): To communicate with local AnkiConnect

Your Control

You have full control over your data:

• View and edit all queued cards in the extension popup or dashboard
• Delete individual cards or clear the entire queue
• Uninstall the extension to remove all stored data

Changes to This Policy

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be noted in the extension's release notes.
